Product Overview

The GigaByte Z890 UD WIFI6E is an ATX motherboard built on the Intel Z890 chipset for LGA 1851 processors from the Intel Core Ultra (Series 2) range. It offers four DDR5 slots for up to 256 GB of memory, with supported speeds from 5600 up to 8800 MT/s (overclocked), plus a PCIe 5.0 x16 slot and a PCIe Gen 5.0 M.2 slot for the fastest drives.

This board suits gaming and general-purpose PC builds around Core Ultra 5, 7 or 9 CPUs. Connectivity is well covered, with Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, 2.5 Gb Ethernet and a USB4 Type-C port with DisplayPort output. Three M.2 slots and four SATA ports give plenty of storage options, and six 4-pin PWM fan headers help with cooling. A BIOS update may be needed for the newest processors.
