Product Overview

The Asus PRO WS W790-ACE is an SSI-CEB workstation motherboard built on the Intel W790 chipset for LGA 4677 (Socket E) Intel Xeon W-3400 and W-2400 processors. It offers eight DDR5 DIMM slots with ECC registered memory support for up to 2 TB, five PCIe 5.0 x16 slots, and dual networking with Marvell 10 Gb and Intel 2.5 Gb Ethernet.

This board suits single-CPU workstation builds that need lots of memory, several expansion cards and fast networking. Storage options include four SATA III ports, three SlimSAS connectors and two M.2 slots, with RAID 0, 1, 5 and 10 supported.
