Product Overview

The Asus PRIME Z790-P WIFI Intel Z790 motherboard is an ATX board for LGA 1700 processors, with four DDR5 DIMM slots in dual-channel and memory support from 4800 up to 7000 MHz (overclocked). It offers one PCIe 5.0 x16 slot, three PCIe 4.0 x16 slots and three M.2 slots, with Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2 and 2.5 Gb Ethernet built in.

This board suits a modern Intel gaming or general-purpose PC build where you want wireless networking on the board and plenty of storage options. With three M.2 slots and four SATA ports, you can combine NVMe drives and SATA drives, and the RAID levels 0, 1, 5 and 10 are supported. It has six 4-pin PWM fan headers plus RGB and addressable RGB headers with AURA Sync. Note that the integrated graphics outputs only work with a CPU that has integrated graphics, and a BIOS update may be needed to support the newest processors.
