Product Overview

The GigaByte B850 EAGLE ICE is an ATX motherboard for Socket AM5 built on the AMD B850 chipset, finished in white and silver. It supports Ryzen 7000, 8000 and 9000 series processors, has four DDR5 slots for up to 256 GB at speeds up to 8200 MT/s (O.C.), and offers a PCIe 5.0 x16 slot plus three M.2 slots, the first of which runs at PCIe 5.0.

With its white colour scheme, this board suits light-themed AM5 builds. Connectivity includes 2.5 GbE Realtek LAN, HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4 outputs for CPUs with integrated graphics, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports and a USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 port. Four SATA III ports and RAID 0, 1 and 10 cover additional storage. There is no onboard Wi-Fi, and a BIOS update may be needed for the newest processors.
