Product Overview

The Asus PRIME B550M-K ARGB is a micro ATX motherboard built on the AMD B550 chipset for Socket AM4 processors. It has two DDR4 slots for up to 64 GB of dual-channel memory, one PCIe 4.0 x16 slot and two M.2 slots, one of which supports transfer speeds of up to 64 Gbps via PCIe 4.0. Video outputs are HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4.

This board suits compact AM4 builds based on Ryzen 5000, 5000 G-Series, 4000 G-Series or 3000 Series processors. It has four SATA 6Gb/s ports, Gigabit Ethernet, 7.1-channel audio, and one RGB header plus two addressable RGB headers with AURA Sync support. Three 4-pin PWM fan headers are provided. The video outputs only work with a CPU that has integrated graphics, and a BIOS update may be needed for the newest processors. Two SATA cables, an M.2 screw pack and an I/O shield are included.
