Product Overview

The GigaByte X870E AORUS PRO ICE is an ATX motherboard for the AM5 socket, built on the AMD X870E chipset in a silver/white finish. It supports Ryzen 7000, 8000 and 9000 series processors, has four DDR5 slots for up to 256 GB of memory, and offers four M.2 slots, three of them PCIe 5.0. Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth, 2.5 GbE and two USB4 ports.

This board suits white or light-themed AM5 builds that need plenty of fast storage and modern connectivity. The 1x PCIe 5.0 x16 slot takes the graphics card, while the four SATA ports and four M.2 slots leave room for large storage setups. Eight 4-pin PWM fan headers and four RGB headers cover cooling and lighting. Depending on the CPU, a BIOS update may be needed for the newest processors.
