Product Overview

The Gigabyte X870E AORUS Elite WiFi7 is an ATX motherboard built on the AMD X870E chipset for Socket AM5 processors from the Ryzen 7000, 8000 and 9000 series. It has four DDR5 slots for up to 256 GB of memory, four M.2 slots (three of them PCIe 5.0), and USB4 on the rear panel, with connectivity covering Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4 and 2.5 GbE LAN.

This board suits a high-end AM5 gaming or general-purpose build where fast storage and plenty of connectivity matter. Three PCIe 5.0 M.2 slots leave room for several NVMe drives, while four SATA ports cover extra storage. Two USB4 ports, 7.1-channel Realtek ALC1220 audio and six PWM fan headers round out the specification. A BIOS update may be needed to support the newest processors.
