Product Overview
The Gigabyte B650 Gaming X AX V2 is an ATX motherboard built on the AMD B650 chipset for Socket AM5 processors. It supports Ryzen 7000, 8000 and 9000 series CPUs (a BIOS update may be needed for the newest ones) and has four DDR5 slots for up to 192 GB of memory at speeds up to DDR5-8000 (OC). Storage options include one PCIe 5.0 M.2 slot, two PCIe 4.0 M.2 slots and four SATA ports.
With Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth and a Realtek 2.5GbE LAN port onboard, this board suits AM5 gaming builds without needing separate network cards. The rear I/O includes a USB-C 10 Gbit/s port, three USB-A 10 Gbit/s ports, HDMI and DisplayPort, and an internal USB-C 20 Gbit/s header handles front-panel connectivity.
