Product Overview

The ASUS TUF Gaming B650M-Plus is a micro-ATX AM5 motherboard built on the AMD B650 chipset. It takes Ryzen 5, 7 and 9 processors from the 7000, 8000 and 9000 series, including X3D models, and has four DDR5 slots for dual-channel memory supporting speeds up to DDR5-6400 (OC). Two M.2 slots, four SATA ports and 2.5 Gb Ethernet round out the storage and networking.

With a 244 x 244 mm footprint, this board suits compact and mid-size gaming PC builds that still need a full set of connections. The rear panel has a USB-C 3.2 Gen 2×2 port (20 Gbit/s), HDMI and DisplayPort outputs for CPUs with integrated graphics, and 7.1 audio. It has six 4-pin PWM fan headers and RGB headers. ASUS notes that a BIOS update may be needed for the newest processors.
