Product Overview

The Gigabyte B840M AORUS ELITE WIFI6E is a Micro ATX motherboard for Socket AM5, built on the AMD B840 chipset. It supports Ryzen 7000, 8000 and 9000 series processors, four DDR5 slots for up to 256 GB at up to 8200 MT/s (O.C.), two PCIe 4.0 M.2 slots, and Wi-Fi 6E with Bluetooth 5.3. A 2.5 Gigabit Realtek LAN port is included alongside the wireless.

It suits a compact AM5 gaming or general-purpose build where you want fast networking and NVMe storage without stepping up to a larger board. Video outputs (HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4) work with Ryzen CPUs that have integrated graphics. Four SATA III ports, a 10 Gbps USB-C port and an EZ M.2 Clip II for tool-free SSD fitting are also included. A BIOS update may be needed for the newest processors.
