Product Overview

The ASRock X870E Taichi Lite is an E-ATX motherboard for AMD Socket AM5 built on the AMD X870E chipset. It supports Ryzen 7000, 8000 and 9000 series processors, including the X3D models, and offers four DDR5 slots for up to 256 GB of memory, with supported speeds listed up to DDR5-8200. Connectivity stands out, with two USB4 ports, Wi-Fi 7 with Bluetooth 5.4 and Realtek 5Gb Ethernet.

Storage and expansion suit a high-end AM5 build. There are four M.2 slots, one of them PCIe Gen 5.0 and three PCIe Gen 4.0, plus six SATA ports and nine 4-pin PWM fan headers. The two USB4 ports carry DisplayPort video output with DisplayPort 1.4 and HDR support, usable with a CPU that has integrated graphics. Power comes from a 24-pin and two 8-pin ATX12V connectors. A BIOS update may be needed for the newest processors.
