The ASRock B850 Steel Legend WiFi is an ATX motherboard built on the AMD B850 chipset for Socket AM5 processors. It stands out with four M.2 slots, one of them PCIe Gen 5.0 and three PCIe Gen 4.0, plus Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4 and 2.5 Gb/s Dragon LAN already on board. Four DDR5 slots support up to 256 GB, with speeds up to DDR5-8000+ (OC).

This board suits gaming and general-purpose PC builds around a Ryzen 7000, 8000 or 9000 series CPU, including X3D models. Storage options are plentiful with four M.2 and four SATA ports, and RAID 0, 1 and 10 are supported. Connectivity includes two USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 ports on the rear, HDMI for CPUs with integrated graphics, and Realtek ALC4082 7.1 channel audio. A BIOS update may be needed for the newest processors.

All the process of building the config designed for my needs was handled very smoothly and rapidly by Jola. The desktop came with one day of delay due to DHL issues, not their fault. Irish online stores in general have a common practice of selling something they don't have - claiming they do - and then ordering from their source, leading to long shipping times and frustated customers. That was not the case here! I've asked them to let me know when they had the graphics card I wanted back in stock as it was out of stock. On the next day I had a positive from them and in about a week the card was installed on my pc ! On top of that they work with Humm so I could split the payments.
