It uses the Silicon Motion SM2508 controller built on 6nm lithography, 3D TLC NAND and a low-power DDR4 DRAM cache, with random performance of up to 2,200,000 IOPS for both reads and writes.

With 8 TB of capacity, this drive suits gaming PCs, video editing and data-heavy workflows where a large library of games and projects needs to sit on a single drive.
