The Kingston NV3 4 TB NVMe SSD is a PCIe 4.0 x4 drive in the M.2 2280 format, with sequential speeds of up to 6,000 MB/s read and 5,000 MB/s write. It is built around a Gen 4×4 NVMe controller and Kingston says it offers lower power consumption and reduced heat output. The 4 TB capacity is the top size in the NV3 range, which starts at 500 GB.

This drive suits gaming PCs, desktop builds and laptops with a free M.2 slot that need a lot of fast storage for games, videos and projects. It is a single-sided 22 x 80 mm module only 2.3 mm thick, so it fits thin laptops and small-form-factor systems. It is rated for 1,280 TBW and 2,000,000 hours MTBF, and uses 3D NAND.
