The Kingston KC600 mSATA SSD is a 512 GB solid state drive in the mSATA form factor, using the SATA Rev. 3.0 interface (6 Gb/s) with backwards compatibility. It uses 3D TLC NAND and an SM2259 controller to reach sequential speeds of up to 550 MB/s read and 520 MB/s write, with 90,000 read and 80,000 write IOPS.

The KC600 is aimed at owners of laptops and PCs with an mSATA slot who want to replace or add fast storage. It is a self-encrypting drive with 256-bit AES-XTS hardware encryption, TCG Opal and eDrive support. The drive is rated for 300 TBW and 1,000,000 hours MTBF, draws just 80 mW at idle, and weighs only 7 g.
