Product Overview

The ADATA Ultimate SU650 SSD is a 1 TB 2.5″ SATA drive with 3D NAND flash and a high-speed controller, rated for up to 520 MB/s sequential reads and 450 MB/s writes. It uses SLC caching and advanced error correction, and carries a 600 TBW endurance rating and an MTBF of 2,000,000 hours, with 40,000 random read and 75,000 random write IOPS.

As a SATA III drive in a slim 7 mm, 2.5″ case, the SU650 suits upgrading an older PC or laptop from a hard drive, or adding fast storage to a build that has no spare M.2 slot. It connects over a single SATA 6 Gb/s port with a 15-pin power connector, weighs around 48 g, and works from 0 to 70 °C. Hardware encryption and ECC are listed in the data.
