Product Overview

The ADATA SD810 4 TB External SSD is a pocket-sized portable drive with a USB-C 3.2 Gen 2×2 (20 Gbit/s) interface and read and write speeds of up to 2,000 MB/s. That is roughly 20 times faster than a standard external hard drive at around 100 MB/s. What sets it apart is its IP68 rating: it can be submerged in water deeper than 1 metre for up to 60 minutes, and it also meets the MIL-STD-810G 516.6 impact resistance standard.

The aluminium case helps with heat dissipation so transfer speeds stay stable under sustained load, and the drive weighs just 42 g and is smaller than a credit card. With 4 TB of space, it suits photographers and video creators who edit large files directly from the drive, as well as anyone expanding the storage on a PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S. It also works with Windows 10/11, macOS 13 or later, Linux (kernel 6 or later) and Android 13 or later. A USB Type-C to Type-C cable is included.
