The Chieftec EON ZPU-500S is a 500W ATX power supply built to the ATX12V 2.3 standard and carrying 80 PLUS 230V EU certification. It delivers 444W on a single +12V rail (37A), uses active PFC and is cooled by a temperature-controlled 120 mm fan. The casing is made entirely of steel with a black coating.

With a 24-pin ATX connector, a 4+4-pin CPU connector, one 6+2-pin PCIe connector and four SATA plugs, it suits a basic office, home or entry-level gaming PC with a modest graphics card. Note that it is rated for 200-240V input only, which is the norm in Ireland. The cabling is non-modular, the unit measures 150 x 86 x 140 mm and weighs 1.2 kg, and Chieftec lists a 2-year manufacturer warranty.
