Product Overview

The be quiet! Straight Power 12 Platinum 1000W is a fully modular ATX 3.1 power supply with 80 PLUS Platinum certification and efficiency of up to 93.9%. It delivers 1000 W continuous (1070 W peak) on a single 999.6 W +12V rail, and includes a native 12V-2×6 (12+4 pin) connector for PCIe 5.1 graphics cards alongside four 6+2-pin PCIe connectors.

Noise is the main selling point: the single 135 mm temperature-controlled fan is rated at just 7.7 dB(A) at 20% load and 8 dB(A) at 50% load, rising to 28.9 dB(A) at full load. That makes it a good fit for quiet high-end gaming builds and for upgrades that need a modern 12V-2×6 cable. It has a 13.5 cm FDB fan, 9 SATA connectors, full protection circuitry and a 10-year manufacturer warranty.
