Product Overview

The MSI Z790 GAMING PLUS WIFI is an ATX motherboard built on the Intel Z790 chipset for LGA 1700 processors. It has four DDR5 DIMM slots in dual-channel for up to 256 GB, with supported speeds up to DDR5-7200 (OC). It also offers four M.2 slots, a PCIe 5.0 x16 slot, Intel 2.5 Gbps LAN and Intel Wi-Fi 6E with Bluetooth 5.3 built in.

This board suits an Intel 12th or 13th Gen gaming or general-purpose build where you want plenty of storage and connectivity without paying for a high-end board. Four M.2 slots and six SATA ports leave room for several drives, while eight PWM fan headers and Mystic Light RGB headers help with cooling and lighting. A Wi-Fi antenna, two SATA cables, two EZ M.2 clips and an I/O shield come in the box.

All the process of building the config designed for my needs was handled very smoothly and rapidly by Jola. The desktop came with one day of delay due to DHL issues, not their fault. The computer came very well packed however, the cooler fan was loose inside the case. I managed to fix watching some youtube videos, not a big deal. Irish online stores in general have a common practice of selling something they don't have - claiming they do - and then ordering from their source, leading to long shipping times and frustated customers. That was not the case here! I've asked them to let me know when they had the graphics card I wanted back in stock as it was out of stock. On the next day I had a positive from them and in about a week the card was installed on my pc ! On top of that they work with Humm so I could split the payments.
