Product Overview

The Asus PRIME Z890-P WIFI is an ATX motherboard built on the Intel Z890 chipset for LGA 1851 Core Ultra (Series 2) processors. It combines four DDR5 DIMM slots with four M.2 slots, one of them PCIe 5.0, plus a PCIe 5.0 x16 slot for the graphics card. Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, 2.5 Gb Ethernet and a Thunderbolt 4 USB-C port on the rear panel.

This board suits mainstream and enthusiast Intel builds that need plenty of fast storage and modern networking without extra add-in cards. The power design uses 14+1+2+1 stages rated at 80 A each for high-core-count CPUs. Seven 4-pin PWM fan headers, one RGB and three addressable RGB headers (Aura Sync) cover cooling and lighting. A BIOS update may be needed to support the newest processors.
