Product Overview

The Sapphire A520M-E AM4 motherboard is a compact µATX board built on the AMD A520 chipset for AMD processors in the AM4 socket. It has two DDR4 slots supporting up to 64 GB of dual-channel memory at speeds up to DDR4-3200, one PCIe 3.0 x16 slot, one PCIe 3.0 x1 slot, four SATA connectors and one M.2 slot with M key for PCIe SSDs.

This board suits a budget or compact AM4 gaming or home PC. Video outputs (HDMI and VGA) work only when the installed CPU has integrated graphics. Networking is covered by Gigabit LAN (Realtek RTL8111M), and the Realtek ALC897 codec provides 8-channel audio. The external panel offers four USB 3.2 Gen 1 and two USB 2.0 ports plus a PS/2 combo port. A BIOS update may be needed to support the newest processors.

All the process of building the config designed for my needs was handled very smoothly and rapidly by Jola. The desktop came with one day of delay due to DHL issues, not their fault. The computer came very well packed however, the cooler fan was loose inside the case. I managed to fix watching some youtube videos, not a big deal. Irish online stores in general have a common practice of selling something they don't have - claiming they do - and then ordering from their source, leading to long shipping times and frustated customers. That was not the case here! I've asked them to let me know when they had the graphics card I wanted back in stock as it was out of stock.
