Product Overview

The MSI MPG B850I EDGE TI WIFI is a Mini-ITX motherboard for Socket AM5, built on the AMD B850 chipset. It supports Ryzen 7000, 8000 and 9000 series processors, including X3D models, and packs a PCIe 5.0 x16 slot, two M.2 slots (one PCIe Gen 5.0, one Gen 4.0) and a 20 Gbps USB-C 3.2 Gen 2×2 port into a 170 x 170 mm board.

Two DDR5 slots take up to 128 GB of memory, with support listed up to DDR5-8400 (O.C.). Networking is covered by 5 Gigabit Ethernet (Realtek RTL8126), Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4, with an EZ WiFi antenna in the box. Realtek ALC4080 audio, an HDMI port for CPUs with integrated graphics and eight PWM fan headers make it a good fit for a compact AM5 gaming or home PC. A BIOS update may be needed for the newest processors.
