Product Overview

The Asus PRIME A520M-A II/CSM is a micro ATX motherboard built on the AMD A520 chipset for Socket AM4 processors. It has four DDR4 DIMM slots supporting up to 128 GB of dual-channel memory, one M.2 slot, four SATA 6 Gb/s ports and a PCIe 4.0 x16 slot. Video outputs for VGA, HDMI and DisplayPort are on the rear panel, which makes it practical for Ryzen CPUs with integrated graphics.

This board suits a compact, budget-focused AM4 build with a Ryzen 3 or Ryzen 5 processor, or an office and everyday PC. It includes Gigabit Ethernet, Realtek ALC897 audio, four USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports on the rear and Aura Sync RGB header support. As a Corporate Stable Model (CSM) it comes with ASUS Control Center Express and extended lifecycle support. Newer processors may need a BIOS update, and there is no onboard Wi-Fi.

All the process of building the config designed for my needs was handled very smoothly and rapidly by Jola. The desktop came with one day of delay due to DHL issues, not their fault. Irish online stores in general have a common practice of selling something they don't have - claiming they do - and then ordering from their source, leading to long shipping times and frustated customers. That was not the case here! I've asked them to let me know when they had the graphics card I wanted back in stock as it was out of stock. On the next day I had a positive from them and in about a week the card was installed on my pc ! On top of that they work with Humm so I could split the payments.
