Product Overview

The MSI MPG B850 EDGE TI WIFI is an ATX motherboard on the AMD B850 chipset for Socket AM5, finished in a silver-white colour scheme for white PC builds. It supports Ryzen 7000, 8000 and 9000 series processors and offers four DDR5 slots for up to 256 GB at speeds up to DDR5-8400 (O.C.). Its 14+2+1 Duet Rail Power System uses 80A Smart Power Stages, and it includes four M.2 slots, two of them PCIe 5.0.

This board suits a high-end gaming or white-themed AM5 build with a Ryzen 9000 series CPU. Networking is covered by Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4 and a 5G Realtek LAN port, while the rear panel carries three USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 ports, HDMI 2.1 and optical S/PDIF out. An EZ PCIe Release button makes swapping a graphics card easier, and the bundle includes the Wi-Fi antenna, an EZ M.2 Clip II, SATA cable and ARGB extension cable. A BIOS update may be needed to support the newest processors.
