The Gigabyte X870 AORUS Elite WiFi7 is an ATX motherboard built on the AMD X870 chipset for Socket AM5 processors. It supports Ryzen 7000, 8000 and 9000 series CPUs, including X3D models, and offers four DDR5 slots for up to 256 GB of memory. Storage is a strong point, with four M.2 slots, three of them PCIe 5.0, plus four SATA ports. Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4 and 2.5 GbE LAN.

This board suits a modern AM5 gaming or general-purpose build where fast NVMe storage and up-to-date connectivity matter. Two USB4 ports with DisplayPort output, an HDMI port and 7.1-channel Realtek ALC1220 audio cover most needs, while eight PWM fan headers and RGB Fusion headers help with cooling and lighting. All the process of building the config designed for my needs was handled very smoothly and rapidly by Jola. The desktop came with one day of delay due to DHL issues, not their fault. Irish online stores in general have a common practice of selling something they don't have - claiming they do - and then ordering from their source, leading to long shipping times and frustated customers. That was not the case here! I've asked them to let me know when they had the graphics card I wanted back in stock as it was out of stock.
