Product Overview

The Gigabyte B550M X AORUS ELITE is a micro ATX motherboard for Socket AM4 built on the AMD B550 chipset. It takes AMD Ryzen 3000, 4000 and 5000 Series processors and offers four DDR4 DIMM slots for up to 128 GB of dual-channel memory. Storage is well covered, with two M.2 slots (the first running at PCIe 4.0), four SATA III ports and RAID 0, 1 and 10.

This board suits a compact AM4 gaming or general-purpose PC where PCIe 4.0 storage and fast networking matter. It includes Realtek 2.5 GbE LAN, a USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port, HDMI and DVI-D outputs for use with a CPU with integrated graphics, and RGB and addressable RGB headers for lighting. The board has no onboard Wi-Fi. A BIOS update may be needed to support the newest processors.
