Product Overview

The Asus TUF Gaming X870E-Plus WiFi 7 is an ATX motherboard built on the AMD X870E chipset for Socket AM5 processors. It supports Ryzen 7000, 8000 and 9000 series CPUs, four DDR5 slots for up to 256 GB of memory, a PCIe 5.0 x16 slot and four M.2 slots, one of them PCIe 5.0. Connectivity includes two USB4 ports, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4 and 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet.

This board suits a high-end AM5 gaming or enthusiast build where fast storage and modern connectivity matter. Four M.2 slots and four SATA ports give plenty of room for drives, and RAID 0, 1, 5 and 10 are supported. It has seven 4-pin PWM fan headers, three addressable RGB headers with AURA Sync, a 20 Gbit/s internal USB-C header and Realtek ALC1220P audio. A BIOS update may be needed for the newest processors.
