Product Overview

The Asus TUF Gaming B850M-Plus is a micro ATX motherboard for Socket AM5 built on the AMD B850 chipset. It supports AMD Ryzen 7000, 8000 and 9000 series processors, has four DDR5 DIMM slots, three M.2 slots (the first running at PCIe 5.0) and a PCIe 5.0 x16 slot for the graphics card. Network connectivity comes from 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet.

This board suits a compact AM5 gaming or general-purpose PC where you want current-generation storage and memory support without moving up to a full ATX board. Rear I/O includes a USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 Type-C port, HDMI and DisplayPort for CPUs with integrated graphics, and six 4-pin PWM fan headers help with cooling. The board has no onboard Wi-Fi, and a BIOS update may be needed for the newest processors.

All the process of building the config designed for my needs was handled very smoothly and rapidly by Jola. The desktop came with one day of delay due to DHL issues, not their fault. Irish online stores in general have a common practice of selling something they don't have - claiming they do - and then ordering from their source, leading to long shipping times and frustated customers. That was not the case here! I've asked them to let me know when they had the graphics card I wanted back in stock as it was out of stock. On the next day I had a positive from them and in about a week the card was installed on my pc ! On top of that they work with Humm so I could split the payments.
