The Asus PRIME B840M-A WIFI is a micro ATX motherboard built on the AMD B840 chipset for Socket AM5 processors, covering Ryzen 7000, 8000 and 9000 series CPUs. It offers four DDR5 slots for up to 192 GB of memory, three M.2 slots, four SATA III ports and wireless networking in the form of Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3, alongside 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet.

With a compact 244 x 244 mm board, it suits a mid-range Ryzen build in a micro ATX or larger case, whether for gaming or everyday use. Video outputs (HDMI and two DisplayPorts) work when paired with a CPU that has integrated graphics. Six PWM fan headers and three addressable RGB headers cover cooling and lighting. A BIOS update may be needed to support the newest processors.

All the process of building the config designed for my needs was handled very smoothly and rapidly by Jola. The desktop came with one day of delay due to DHL issues, not their fault. Irish online stores in general have a common practice of selling something they don't have - claiming they do - and then ordering from their source, leading to long shipping times and frustated customers. That was not the case here! I've asked them to let me know when they had the graphics card I wanted back in stock as it was out of stock. On the next day I had a positive from them and in about a week the card was installed on my pc ! On top of that they work with Humm so I could split the payments.
