The Asus B850M MAX GAMING WIFI is a micro ATX AM5 motherboard built on the AMD B850 chipset, supporting Ryzen 7000, 8000 and 9000 series processors. It has four DDR5 slots for up to 256 GB of memory (up to DDR5-8000), three M.2 slots with the first running at PCIe 5.0, and a PCIe 5.0 x16 slot for the graphics card.

This board suits compact and mid-size AM5 gaming builds that still need solid connectivity. Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4 and Gigabit LAN are onboard, along with HDMI and DisplayPort for CPUs with integrated graphics. It has four SATA ports, seven 4-pin PWM fan headers and three addressable RGB headers. A BIOS update may be needed for the newest processors.

All the process of building the config designed for my needs was handled very smoothly and rapidly by Jola. The desktop came with one day of delay due to DHL issues, not their fault. Irish online stores in general have a common practice of selling something they don't have - claiming they do - and then ordering from their source, leading to long shipping times and frustated customers. That was not the case here! I've asked them to let me know when they had the graphics card I wanted back in stock as it was out of stock. On the next day I had a positive from them and in about a week the card was installed on my pc ! On top of that they work with Humm so I could split the payments.
