Product Overview

The ASRock X870 Riptide WiFi is an ATX motherboard for AMD Socket AM5 processors, built on the AMD X870 chipset. It offers four DDR5 slots for up to 256 GB of memory, three M.2 slots (one PCIe Gen 5.0 and two PCIe Gen 4.0), two USB4 ports with DisplayPort video output, 2.5 Gb Ethernet and Wi-Fi 7 with Bluetooth 5.4.

With a PCIe 5.0 x16 slot for the graphics card and a second PCIe 4.0 x16-size slot running at x4 lanes, this board suits gaming and general-purpose AM5 builds using Ryzen 7000, 8000 or 9000 series processors. Storage options include four SATA ports and RAID 0, 1 and 10. Six 4-pin PWM fan headers and three addressable RGB headers cover cooling and lighting. A BIOS update may be needed for the newest processors. Onboard video outputs only work with a CPU that has integrated graphics.
