Product Overview

The ASRock B850 Pro-A is an AMD B850 motherboard for Socket AM5 processors that pairs four DDR5 slots (up to 256 GB, DDR5-8000+ with overclocking) with four M.2 slots, a PCIe 5.0 x16 slot and 2.5 Gigabit LAN. It supports Ryzen 7000, 8000 and 9000 series CPUs, including X3D models, although a BIOS update may be needed for the newest processors.

With four SATA3 ports, four M.2 slots, a USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 (10 Gbit/s) port at the rear and seven 4-pin PWM fan headers, this board suits gaming and general-purpose AM5 builds that need plenty of storage and good cooling connectivity. Three addressable RGB headers and one RGB header cover lighting, and an HDMI output is available when you use a CPU with integrated graphics. Audio is handled by a Realtek ALC897 codec, and a TPM header is provided.
