The Intel Core Ultra 9 285 processor is a 24-core Arrow Lake desktop CPU for the LGA 1851 socket, combining 8 Performance cores that boost up to 5.6 GHz with 16 Efficiency cores boosting up to 4.6 GHz. It carries 40 MB of L2 cache and 36 MB of L3 cache, plus an integrated AI core rated at 13 TOPS through Intel AI Boost.

The chip supports PCIe 5.0 and 4.0 as well as DDR5 memory, and works with motherboards based on the Intel 800 series chipset. Base power is 65 W, rising to a maximum of 182 W under load. The boxed version ships without a cooler, so you will need to pair it with a separate CPU cooler. A good fit for a high-core-count gaming or multitasking PC on the LGA 1851 platform.
