Product Overview

The Intel Core i7-12700K is an unlocked Alder Lake desktop processor for the LGA 1700 socket, with 12 cores and 20 threads. It combines 8 Performance cores (16 threads) boosting up to 4.9 GHz with 4 Efficiency cores (4 threads) boosting up to 3.8 GHz, backed by 25 MB of Level 3 cache. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 770 means it can run without a separate graphics card.

Performance cores handle demanding workloads, while the Efficiency cores take over when the load is light. The chip supports PCIe 5.0 and 4.0 as well as DDR5 and DDR4 memory, and works with motherboards based on 700-series and 600-series chipsets. With a 125 W TDP (190 W maximum) and no cooler in the box, it suits a gaming or all-round PC build paired with a separate cooler. This is the tray version, supplied without retail packaging.
