Product Overview

The Intel Core i9-14900KF is a 14th-generation Raptor Lake-S desktop processor for the LGA 1700 socket, with 24 cores and 32 threads. It combines 8 Performance cores (16 threads, 3.2 GHz base, up to 5.6 GHz boost) with 16 Efficiency cores (2.4 GHz base, up to 4.4 GHz boost), and Thermal Velocity Boost takes it up to 6 GHz. It is unlocked, with 36 MB of L3 cache.

The KF suffix means there is no integrated graphics, so this CPU needs a discrete graphics card, which suits gaming and high-end workstation builds. It is supported by Intel 700 and 600 series motherboards, with PCIe 5.0 and 4.0, plus DDR5 and DDR4 memory support depending on the board. This is the boxed version without a cooler, so you will need to buy a suitable cooler separately. TDP is 125 W, rising to 253 W at maximum turbo power.
