Product Overview

The Intel Core i9-14900K is a 24-core, 32-thread desktop processor for the LGA 1700 socket, built on the Raptor Lake-S architecture. It combines 8 Performance cores (up to 5.6 GHz boost, 3.2 GHz base) with 16 Efficiency cores (up to 4.2 GHz boost, 2.0 GHz base), with a maximum Turbo frequency of up to 6000 MHz. It carries 32 MB of L2 cache and 36 MB of L3 cache, and the multiplier is unlocked for overclocking.

This is the boxed version and it ships without a cooler, so you will need to budget for a capable aftermarket CPU cooler given the 125 W base power and 253 W maximum power. It suits high-end gaming and heavy multitasking builds on Intel 700 or 600 series motherboards. The Raptor Lake-S platform supports PCIe 5.0 and 4.0 as well as DDR5 and DDR4 memory (depending on the motherboard), and Intel UHD Graphics 770 is integrated for systems without a discrete GPU.
