Product Overview

The Asus ROG Crosshair VIII Impact is a Mini-DTX motherboard for AMD Socket AM4 processors, built on the AMD X570 chipset. Its slightly taller Mini-DTX layout lets Asus fit dual M.2 storage, SupremeFX audio and a 10-stage VRM onto a compact board that still fits many Mini-ITX cases. It offers one PCIe 4.0 x16 slot, two DDR4 DIMM slots for up to 64 GB, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth.

This board suits small-form-factor gaming builds that need ATX-style features in a compact footprint. Connectivity includes two RJ-45 LAN ports (Intel I211-AT among them), an Intel Wireless-AX 200 Wi-Fi 6 module, one USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port, five USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 ports and an optical S/PDIF output.
