Product Overview

The Team Group VULCAN Z QLC 2 TB SATA SSD is a 2.5″ drive that connects over SATA 6 Gb/s and delivers read speeds of up to 550 MB/s and write speeds of up to 500 MB/s. It uses 3D QLC NAND with SLC caching, and is rated for 600 TBW with an MTBF of 1,000,000 hours. At 2 TB it offers a lot of storage for a SATA drive.

At just 6.8 mm high and 45 g, the drive fits ultrabooks and laptops as well as standard desktop PCs, so it works as a simple upgrade for an older machine or as extra game storage in a new build. It connects via a 15-pin SATA power connector and supports Global Wear Leveling, LDPC ECC and S.M.A.R.T. monitoring. Team Group describes it as a gaming SSD for fast game loading and booting.
