Product Overview

The Kioxia Exceria Basic 2 TB is an M.2 2280 SSD that connects over PCIe 4.0 x4 and delivers sequential reads of up to 7,300 MB/s and writes of up to 6,800 MB/s. It is the entry model of the Exceria Basic series and uses BiCS FLASH 3D flash memory with QLC chips, giving 2 TB of capacity in a mainstream drive.

With a 2280 form factor and an M key connector, it fits desktop motherboards as well as notebooks, so it suits a general gaming or everyday PC build that needs a lot of fast storage. Random performance is rated at 1,000,000 IOPS read and 1,250,000 IOPS write, power draw in operation is 4.3 W, and the drive is rated for 600 TBW and 1,500,000 hours MTBF. TRIM and idle time garbage collection are supported.
