The Kingston KC3000 512 GB is a PCIe 4.0 x4 NVMe M.2 2280 SSD built on a Phison E18 controller and 3D TLC NAND. It is rated for sequential reads of up to 7000 MB/s and writes of up to 3900 MB/s, with 450,000 IOPS random read and 900,000 IOPS random write at 4KB. A low-profile heatsink is fitted.

With a TBW rating of 400 and an MTBF of 1,800,000 hours, the KC3000 suits desktop and laptop PCs where a fast boot and application drive is needed, including 3D rendering and 4K content work. The compact M.2 2280 format (22 x 80 mm, 2.21 mm high) fits standard M.2 slots and small-form-factor systems. Idle power draw is just 0.005 W, and the drive weighs only 7 g.
