Product Overview

The Intenso TOP 512 GB SSD is a 2.5-inch SATA III solid state drive that uses the full SATA 6 Gb/s interface. It reaches sequential read speeds of up to 550 MB/s and write speeds of up to 500 MB/s, and it uses MLC flash rather than cheaper cell types. With a rated endurance of 240 TBW and an MTBF of 2,000,000 hours, it is built for long service life.

This drive suits anyone upgrading an older laptop or desktop from a mechanical hard disk, or adding fast storage to a build that has a free 2.5-inch SATA bay. With no moving parts it is more robust than a traditional hard drive, uses less energy and offers much shorter access times. It supports TRIM and weighs just 83 g. The drive is supplied in bulk packaging, so it comes without retail box or accessories. Quoted speeds are manufacturer maximums measured with the ATTO Disk Benchmark; real-world results can vary.
