The Verbatim SnapBack 1 TB External SSD is a pocket-sized USB-C drive built to sit on the back of a smartphone. It uses a USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 interface (20 Gbit/s) with read speeds of up to 2,000 MB/s and write speeds of up to 1,800 MB/s, and it supports Apple ProRes 4K recording at 60 fps. At just 40 g and 8.2 mm thin, it is easy to carry.

It is aimed at mobile filmmakers, vloggers and content creators who record 4K video or high-resolution photos straight to an external drive. The SnapBack is compatible with MagSafe, Android, USB-C iPhone 15 or newer (iOS 17 or later), macOS 10.14 or later and Windows 10 or later. The box includes two USB-C to USB cables, a magnetic ring, Nero 3-2-1 backup software (Windows only) and a manual.

All the process of building the config designed for my needs was handled very smoothly and rapidly by Jola. The desktop came with one day of delay due to DHL issues, not their fault. Irish online stores in general have a common practice of selling something they don't have - claiming they do - and then ordering from their source, leading to long shipping times and frustated customers. That was not the case here! I've asked them to let me know when they had the graphics card I wanted back in stock as it was out of stock.
