Product Overview
The ADATA Urban Tapsafe 1 TB External SSD is a pocket-sized portable drive that connects over USB-C 3.2 Gen 2×2 at 20 Gbit/s, with read and write speeds of up to 1,900 MB/s. What sets it apart from ordinary portable SSDs is the built-in NFC: you unlock the drive with a tap, using the Urban Tapsafe app, and you can share access rights with up to nine users.
Weighing just 73 g and measuring 68.68 x 19.18 x 36.18 mm, the Urban Tapsafe is easy to carry and comes with a USB-C cable, a clip holder and a magnetic design cover. The clip holder works without a cold-shoe system, and the swappable magnetic cover lets you change the look. It suits anyone who moves large files between PCs and wants quick access with a bit of added security.
