Product Overview

The ADATA SC610 1 TB external SSD is a pocket-sized drive that plugs straight into a USB-A port with no cable or cap. Its push-out USB connector can be operated one-handed, and the USB 3.2 Gen 2 interface (10 Gbit/s) delivers read speeds of up to 550 MB/s and write speeds of up to 500 MB/s. At just 13 g, it is far smaller than a typical portable drive.

With 1 TB of storage, the SC610 suits anyone who needs to carry large files between machines, from 4K video footage and photo libraries to game collections for supported consoles. It works with Windows, macOS and Linux, and is backward compatible with USB 2.0 devices, although speeds will be lower on older ports. The plastic housing is rated for 0 to 60 °C operation and the drive comes with a 5-year manufacturer warranty.
