Product Overview
The Icy Box IB-382H-C31 is a USB 3.2 Gen 2 HDD/SSD enclosure that combines a drive bay with a built-in USB hub. It takes one 2.5″ or 3.5″ SATA drive and connects to the host computer over USB Type-C at up to 10 Gbit/s, with UASP support. At the back, the integrated hub adds two USB Type-A and one USB Type-C port, all running at USB 3.2 Gen 2 speed.
This enclosure suits anyone who wants to reuse an old 3.5″ hard drive or a fast 2.5″ SATA SSD as external storage while gaining extra high-speed ports on the desk. It supports hot-swap and Plug & Play, and a blue LED ring on the front shows the drive status. The aluminium housing comes with a stand, a 12 V / 2 A power adapter, both USB-C and USB-A cables, screws and a screwdriver.
