Product Overview

The Thermaltake Toughpower GF A3 1200W is an ATX 3.0 power supply with 80 PLUS Gold certification and up to 90% efficiency. It has a native 12VHPWR (16-pin) PCIe 5.0 connector that can deliver up to 600W to a graphics card, plus 5x 6+2-pin PCIe connectors, so it covers both new and older GPUs. The 1200W output is carried entirely on a single +12V rail rated at 100A.

With 1200W on tap, the Toughpower GF A3 suits high-end gaming builds with a power-hungry graphics card and plenty of storage, thanks to 12 SATA connectors. The modular cabling keeps the case tidy, and the 120 mm fan with liquid bearing stays off until the load passes 40%, so it is silent at 20% load and 31.7 dB(A) at full load. Protections include OCP, OVP, UVP, OPP, SCP and OTP.
