Product Overview

The Seasonic PRIME PX-1600 is a 1600 W ATX power supply with 80 PLUS Platinum certification and up to 92% efficiency. It follows the ATX12V 3.0 standard and offers two 12VHPWR (12+4 pin) connectors alongside eight 6+2-pin PCIe connectors, so it can power several high-end graphics cards. All 1600 W is delivered on the +12V rail (133.3 A), with 125 W combined on the +3.3 V and +5 V rails.

With a modular cable design, a single 135 mm temperature-controlled fan and a full set of protections (OCP, OVP, UVP, OPP, SCP, OTP), the PRIME PX-1600 suits high-wattage gaming and multi-GPU builds that need plenty of headroom. It is part of Seasonic’s third-generation PRIME range, and the Hybrid mode fan control lets users keep fan noise as low as possible. At 150 x 86 x 210 mm, it is a longer unit than a typical ATX PSU, so check case clearance before buying.
