The Asus ROG Thor 1200W Platinum III is a 1200 W ATX 3.1 power supply with 80 PLUS Platinum and Cybenetics Platinum certification. It stands out with a GaN MOSFET, a GPU-First voltage stabiliser and a magnetic OLED display that shows power draw in real time. The unit is fully modular, delivers its full 1200 W on the +12V rail (100 A) and includes a native 12V-2×6 connector for modern graphics cards.
This PSU suits high-end gaming builds with a power-hungry graphics card, as it offers one 12V-2×6 connector plus four 6+2 pin PCIe connectors. The OLED display can be moved to either side of the unit, so it works whether the PSU is installed fan-up or fan-down. A Turbo Mode provides maximum cooling for overclocking or demanding workloads, and the PSU supports AURA Sync lighting. It measures 150 x 86 x 190 mm and weighs 2.37 kg.
