Product Overview

The Asus Pro WS 3000W Platinum is a 3000 W ATX 3.1 power supply with 80 PLUS Platinum certification, built to feed multi-GPU workstations. Asus states it can power up to four NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 graphics cards, and it delivers its full 3000 W on the +12V rail (250 A) with four 12+4 pin (12V-2×6) connectors and four 6+2 pin PCIe connectors on fully modular cables.

This unit is aimed at AI, deep learning and IT workloads where several high-power GPUs share one system. Asus fits larger heatsinks than standard designs, uses dual-ball fan bearings and high-performance copper pins, and etched cables rated to UL1581 and UL758. Note it is a 220-240 V input unit, so check your mains supply. It measures 150 x 86 x 175 mm and weighs about 2.2 kg, in a standard ATX form factor.

All the process of building the config designed for my needs was handled very smoothly and rapidly by Jola. The desktop came with one day of delay due to DHL issues, not their fault. Irish online stores in general have a common practice of selling something they don't have - claiming they do - and then ordering from their source, leading to long shipping times and frustated customers. That was not the case here! I've asked them to let me know when they had the graphics card I wanted back in stock as it was out of stock.
